Obituary of Hazel Dorothy Fitch

Dorothy passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her brother Harold Fitch (Grace) of Red Deer, AB; sisters, Evelyn Pringle (John) of Salt Spring Island, BC, Connie Meighan (Ron) of Niagara-on-the Lake, ON, Shirley Cyr of Comox, BC and Carol Anne Fitch of Balcarres, SK; ten nieces and nephews, including Patrick Fitch of Winnipeg, MB and Wendy Fitch of Regina. Dorothy was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Fitch and Margaret Fitch. She was born at Dunkirk, Saskatchewan to Elsie (nee Cooper) and Arthur Fitch. Dorothy was an avid sports woman throughout her life, playing softball and curling competitively. She worked for over forty years at S.G.I. As per Dorothy’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Donations, in memory of Dorothy, may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
