Obituary of Steve Daniel Ackerman

STEVE DANIEL ACKERMAN Steve, late of Regina, SK, passed away with family by his side on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the age of 67 years. Predeceased by his father Maxmillion Ackerman, mother Matilda Ackerman and stepmother Mabel Ackerman; brothers, Wilfred Ackerman and Albert Ackerman; sister Rose Sharpe; brothers-in-law, Ken Sharpe and Walter Ermel. Steve is survived by sisters, Jose Ermel of Bethune, SK and Kathleen Ens of Vancouver, BC; brother Henry (Cathy) Ackerman of Richmond, BC; daughters, Melanie (Rich) Ackerman of Indian Head, SK., Jeanelle (Stu) George of Calgary, AB and Stephanie (Chris) Ackerman of Regina, SK; six grandchildren Damen, Trinity, Alan, Trent, Brooklyn and Kaia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Steve grew up in Bethune and later moved to Regina where he worked for Canada Post and was a committed member of the Army and Navy Veterans Club. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 425 Broad Street North, Regina on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit, c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5.
