Obituary of Muriel Gladys Blundell

MURIEL GLADYS BLUNDELL Muriel, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her parents Louise and Thomas; sister Joyce Fletcher; brothers, Jack Blundell and Jim Blundell, sisters-in- law, Betty Blundell and Elaine Blundell and brothers-in-law, Frank Nameth and Earl Fletcher. Muriel is survived by sister Dolly Nameth and brother Rene Blundell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and godchildren. Muriel was born in 1928 at the family farm at Dysart, Saskatchewan. After finishing school at the McDonald Hills school, Muriel went on to work for 32 years at SaskTel, retiring in 1983. Muriel loved spending time with her family and friends as well as travelling around the world. Muriel was very spiritual and dedicated many hours to St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Diocese of Qu’Appelle. Funeral Service will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral, 1861 McIntyre Street, Regina on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at McDonald Hills Cemetery, Dysart, SK. Flowers most gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make donations, in memory of Muriel, to St. Paul’s Cathedral.
