Obituary of John Lavery Coneghan

John Lavery Coneghan, born May 31, 1931 in Blantyre, Scotland and late of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by his parents James and Evelyn; brother Jim; sisters Cathleen and Eileen. John is survived by his sister Maureen as well as his son Damian Robert Coneghan of Edmonton, Alberta, daughters Daria Anne Coneghan and Deirdre Evelyn Coneghan, his two grandchildren Kaila Coneghan and Kane Coneghan as well as one great-grandchild Kaden Coneghan, all of Regina, Saskatchewan. Sean as he was known to his closet of friends immigrated to Canada with his bride Ethna Murray Coneghan in 1961 and shortly thereafter settled and established his medical practice in Regina, Saskatchewan until his formal retirement in the 1990s. While not an avid outdoorsman, he did enjoy hunting and fly fishing. John had a passion for reading, movies and a love for all things history.
