Obituary of Loreen Olive Patterson
LOREEN PATTERSON
With tremendous sadness we announce the sudden passing of Loreen Patterson on Monday, March 23, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Laurie (2009); parents Otto and Ida Arndt. Loreen is survived by her sons, Robert (Karen) Patterson and Roderick (Joanne) Patterson; daughter Dawn (Mervin) Andersen; grandchildren, Nolan, Emerson, Skylar, Brandon, Keith, Curtis, Tamara, Hudson and Kareena; great-grandchildren, Caleb and Kaide; sisters, Violet Hubelit, Marlene Schick and Eunice Arndt; brother Vern (Ruth) Arndt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Loreen worked at the Waverly Hotel in Melville, the King George Hotel in Regina as an elevator operator, where she met her husband, and Sears Warehouse. She loved making and going for coffee with her friends from the church and Burger King, and exercise class at the Regina Seniors Centre. She enjoyed gardening, pickling, canning, and baking bread, pies, muffins and cookies for her family and friends. She was always so happy to share. Loreen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was always there to help her family without question. Funeral Service will be held at St. Philip Anglican Church – Living Spirit Centre, 3018 Doan Drive, Regina, SK on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Deacon Rita Brann officiating. Coffee and lunch to follow. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
