Obituary of Andrew Alexander Caven

Andy passed away on March 23, 2015 at the age of 47 years. He was proud of his Scottish heritage and held stories of his lineage very dear. Andy had a passion for birds which was evident by his bird collection. He grew up in Ontario and moved to Lake Louise and then Banff. It was while in Banff he got married and eventually settled in Calgary where his son Gibson was born. Following Gibson’s birth, Andy returned to school graduating with a Business Diploma from Mount Royal University. He continued with his education and would then graduate from CDI Institute of Technology and then continued his studies at Devry. Andy made Regina home in November of 2006 and switched his football allegiance from the Stampeders to the Roughriders. He worked in various employment fields with his most recent position being with CGI. Andy was a superhero having lived with a congenital heart defect his entire life. He was fortunate to receive leading edge surgery as a young boy and again in 2007. The miracles of medicine extended Andy’s life, until congestive heart failure on March 23, 2015. A Private Family gathering will be held.
