Obituary of Eva Ethel Gillis

EVA GILLIS Eva passed away suddenly in Regina, Saskatchewan on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Eva’s life is celebrated by her friends and family. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years, Donald in 1998 and her parents Angela and Daniel Friend of Chilliwack, BC. She was the loving mother of four children, Debra, Daniel (Michelle), David (Tina) and Diane McDonald, and six grandchildren, Daniel, Bryan, Colette, Emily, Alaina and Brooke. She is survived by her sister Mary Slipets and two brothers, Frank and Joe Friend, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Eva was a mother in the true sense of the word. She embraced everyone with her caring and compassion. Her joy in life was her family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King R.C. Church, 3239 Garnet Street, Regina, SK at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015.
