Obituary of Marion Irene Clarke

MARION IRENE CLARKE (née McIntosh) Marion Irene Clarke (nee McIntosh), born on January 23, 1922, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Lumsden & District Heritage Home at the age of 93 years. Marion “Mac” became Marion Irene Clarke on November 10, 1945 when she married her sweetheart, Pat Clarke, which began their 55 year journey together as loving and devoted husband and wife. Marion and Pat settled in Regina at 751 King Street where their family grew, raising together their three children, Gregg, Debbie and Patti. Marion was predeceased by her loving husband, Pat; sister Irene Florence McIntosh; parents, William and Florence McIntosh; brother Albert McIntosh; sister-in-law Bea McIntosh; and son-in-law Dan Seidler. Marion will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gregg Clarke of Regina Beach, Deb Seidler of Regina, Patti Schlechter (Joe) of Regina; daughter-in-law Frieda Clarke (Terry Towriss); her seven grandchildren, Steve Clarke (Nicole), Dave Clarke (Pam), Carolynn Clarke (Danny), Denise Seidler (Mike), Ryan Schlechter (Abby), Angie Heisler (Devin), Brandon Clarke (his mother Margaret); and eight great-grandchildren, Kinley, Ally, Hannah, Samantha, Jesse, Seth, Bella and Emma. The family would like to extend their appreciation and thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Lumsden & District Heritage Home and Dunsmore Personal Home Care for all their care, friendship and special attention to Mum in her last years. A Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined.
