Obituary of Lawrence Hubert John Agecoutay

LAWRENCE H. AGECOUTAY December 25, 1955 – April 22, 2015 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kaneekaneet (Lawrence Hubert Johns Agecoutay) on April 22, 2015 at the age of 59 years. He was predeceased by his Parents; Gordon and Lillian Johns Agecoutay. Brothers; Morris, Clarence and Joey. Kaneekaneet leaves to mourn his Sons; Stanley (Connie), Steven and Theo. Grandchildren; Taneesha, Tyrone, Shaneequa, Shikendra and Skydancer. Siblings; Sandra (Buddy), Debra, Bob, Teresa (Frank), Lynn (Kevin) and Magnus (Janet). Grandparents; Tommy and Josie Johns. Uncle Barney and Aunts; Gloria, Larose and Irene; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. A Wake will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. and the Funeral Service will be on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Both events will be taking place at Chief Ben Pasqua Memorial Hall, Pasqua First Nation, SK. Burial will be at the original Agecoutay Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Native Services at the Regina General Hospital.
