Obituary of Jessie Isabelle Ruth McDougall

Ruth was born on August 12, 1918 on the farm south of Earl Grey, later moving to Regina where she had successful and lengthy career with Revenue Canada. She also spent her retirement years in Regina, passing away on May 4, 2015 at the age of 96 years. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Allister and Harriett, sister Mary (Hector) Ross, brother Donald (Vera) and her brother Spurgeon. She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Beth (Dave) Simpson, Elvira (Gerry) Krause, Margaret (Steve) Cowling, Carol (Wayne) Billings, Allister (Eleanor), Don (Carmen) and Marilyn (John) Scott; special friend Jean Dean as well as many other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of Pioneer Village 2 West for their compassion and care. Memorial Service will be held in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St., Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
