Obituary of Rose Theresa Jesky

Rose was born on March 13, 1921 in the district of Kaposvar, SK to Frank and Elizabeth Kristoff. She was the second youngest in a sib line of seven. In 1945 she married Joseph Jesky and they would have celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary on October 23, 2015. In 1954 they moved to Regina where she lived a long and fulfilling life. Rose loved to garden, cook, and sew. In her later years she loved to knit and crochet for her family and friends. She also loved to attend her great grandchildren’s various activities. Rose, the last of her family, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Elizabeth Kristoff; sisters, Mary, Margaret, Betty and Agnes; brothers, Frank and Jim, Rose is survived by her husband of sixty-nine years, Joe; her children, Norma (Jerry) Veresh of Regina, SK, Marlene (Nick) Smutt of Spring Lake, AB, Darlene Stafford of Spruce Grove, AB, Jay (Val) Jesky of Regina, SK, Lori Cunday of Spruce Grove, AB, Shannon (Ron) Allin of Ponoka, AB; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Helen, Pearl, Rose and Adeline; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. A Celebration of Rose’s Life will be at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 7:00 p.m.
