Obituary of Robert John English

Robert (Bob) John English, late of Regina, passed away May 20th, 2015 at the age of 80 years after a lengthy battle with Cancer. Bob was predeceased by his wife Christine and his parents Robert and Leila. Bob is survived by his special friend Eleanor Svedahl; son Darcy (Toby) English; daughters Lori Walker and Andrea English; grandchildren Nicole (Jeff) Senger, Michelle (Robbie) Korolyk , Megan Negrych, Jamir Walker, Alexia Kulcsar, Bennett Kulcsar and great-grandchildren Mya Korolyk and Oliver Senger. Bob led a very social and active life, even through his last years of Cancer. He was an involved member in many clubs and organizations where he cultivated many friendships. Bob was also an avid and enthusiastic Saskatchewan Roughrider fan spanning several decades. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the friends who shared their time, caring and support throughout Bob’s illness. As Bob leaves behind his dog and faithful companion Chopper, flowers are gratefully declined and the family encourages donations be made in Bob’s honour, to the Regina Humane Society, P.O. Box 3143, Stn. Main, Regina SK, S4P 3G7. A Celebratory Service will be held for family and close friends at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave, Regina, SK on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 3:30 pm. A Casual Social will follow at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street.
