Obituary of Stephanie Rose Shing-Bellegarde

STEPHANIE SHING-BELLEGARDE September 30, 1968 – June 10, 2015 Heaven gained another Angel on June 10, 2015. Our beloved mother, gram, aunt and sister – Kokum Lulu danced her way through the pearly gates of Heaven. Predeceased by her parents, Elsie Bellegarde (mother), Calvin Poitras (father), and J.B. Cyr (stepfather); sisters: Beverly, Vivian, Janice, brother Reinold; and child Jeremy Bird; Stephanie is lovingly remembered by her children: Joshua Bird, Bethany Beattie (Matthew), and Richard Cyr; grandchildren: Madison and Braeden, Joshua, Jayden, Siera, Kayla, Kenzie, Brandon, Chasity, Karly, Kelsey, and Keely; sisters, Brenda, Darlene (Floyd), Lorraine, Tanya (Don), Bernice (Lloyd), Deidra, Beverly, Joyce (Chuck), Marilyn (Ben), Sherry (Darwin), and Carol (Ken); brothers: Warren, Greg, Clarence (Marcie), Morris (Kendra), Tim (Laurie), Ron (Cindy), and Joe; special nieces: Heather (Irvin), Glenda (Brian), Vanessa (Justin), and Kendra; and many more nieces and nephews too numerous to mention, who she loved very much. Special thanks to Dr. Bouwer, Dr. Patel, and nurse Ally at Pasqua ICU for the great care provided to our mother. Thank you also to the Chief and Council of Little Black Bear, Muscowpetung, and Pasqua First Nations. Wake will be held at Muscowpetung School Gymnasium on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. A Traditional Funeral Service will be held at Muscowpetung School Gymnasium on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue E., Regina SK on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. Out of respect to the family, no smoking is permitted at the Wake, Funeral or Cemetery.
