Obituary of Marie Elizabeth Zora

MARIE ELIZABETH ZORA August 27, 1918 – June 21, 2015 Marie passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary; siblings, Dan, Euey, Nora, Rose, Betty, Johnnie and Bea. Marie is survived by sister Jean; as well as several nieces and nephews. Marie grew up in the Victoria Plains district on the family farm. Once completing public school, she took a secretarial program and worked for 24 years as a secretary administrator with a chartered accounting firm. Marie took an early retirement in 1980. Marie had many interests and hobbies, including furniture refinishing, painting and art, gardening and reading. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, at 1:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined.
