Obituary of Georgina Syrgiannis

Georgina Syrgiannis passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the age of 45 years. She is survived by her husband Jim Syrgiannis; parents, Bill and Christina Albanis; her two sons Athan, (Ashley) and Matthew; her two brothers, George and John (Regina) Albanis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a fun loving, adventure seeking woman. She was a powerful force, yet modest in her achievements. She was known for her meticulous attention to detail in her professional life, her community work, and at home. She was a fiercely loyal friend and an exemplary mother and wife. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. She approached the end of her life with the same grace that she radiated her entire life. The Prayer Service will take place at St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church, 3000 Argyle Road, on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Flowers are graciously accepted.
