Obituary of Georgina Anne Pauline Hendry

Georgina Anne “Pauline” Hendry (nee Ball), late of Regina, SK., passed away peacefully on June 29, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Pauline was born in Langbank, Saskatchewan on September 4, 1928 and moved with her family to Silton, Saskatchewan in 1932. She and he family enjoyed their time in Silton and at Saskatchewan Beach. She continued to reminisce about these times all her life. Pauline valued family above all else. She was an avid reader, family historian and traveller. No matter where her travels took her, she always returned home to the Village City and province that she was very proud to be from and that were a large part of her personal identity. Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Ian Hendry; parents Herbert and Bertha (new Read) Ball; sister Winnifred Young; brothers-in-law Ross Young and Leslie Wilson and sisters-in-law Alice Ball and Joan Ball. She is survived by her grandson Michael Hendry; brother Harold Ball; sister Blanche Wilson and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be holding a private memorial service at Pauline’s request. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
