Pauline Harrison

Obituary of Pauline Harrison

December 16, 1919 - July 8, 2015 After a brief illness, it is with sadness that Pauline Harrison's (nee Kindraka) family announce the death of their beloved mother, grandma, and great grandma on July 8, 2015. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Henry Harrison in January of 2004 and is survived by her three sons Harvey (Anna), Patrick (Cheryl Dieter), and Daniel (Laura Herperger); grandchildren Kimberley (Gary Tourney), Tod (Sheryl) , Stephen, and Alyssa; and Pauline's great grandchildren Ella and Kaden. Pauline was a hard worker with several different career choices; finally retiring in her 70's. She had many hobbies such as knitting, sewing, embroidery and listening to the radio. Her family was important to her and she would create many wonderful meals and baking for Sunday suppers. At the age of 95, Pauline was an avid gardener and was in her garden the day before her admission to hospital working on this season's crop of vegetables. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at The Regina General Hospital - from the doctors and nurses in the Emergency Department to the doctors, nurses, social worker, occupational and physiology therapists working on 6A. Thank you for giving such great care to our loved one. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 7:00 pm and the Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 10:00 am. Both events will be held at St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church at 1717 Toronto Street in Regina, Saskatchewan. A private family interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Pauline's name to the charity of one's choice.
