I was fortunate to have had Howard as my neighbor while living at College Court Condominium.
Howard served on the original College Court Condo Board of Directors for many years – and even after his ‘retirement’ continued to assist those of us on the board, property managers, contractors, and residents in a non-official capacity. With his amazing memory and knowledge of all things mechanical and structural, he never hesitated and was much appreciated when called upon to assist.
Howard truly was an honourable gentleman. His longhand notes were perfectly scripted and meticulous, and his sharp wit conveyed the depth of his intelligence. He was deeply admired and respected by all who knew him - and the love and pride he had for his family was apparent in the many stories and photos he shared.
He left this world a better place.

Linda, Joan and Keith would like to wish Howard's family our sincere condolences. It was a pleasure knowing Howard and Joan over the years and were happy to have helped in any way.
I personally drew many warm thoughts of the way Howard and Joan cared for each other and the pride they shared for their children. Thank you for allowing us to share our respects.
In service, our best regards,
Keith Chapman

Girls and all Howard's family,
What a wonderful obituary you have written about your dad - it hits the mark perfectly.
I had the pleasure of working with your dad at Imperial Oil over a period of 20 years, being his steno and whatever else had to be done in the workplace to make his job done right.
I think of both your mom and dad often with many memories of both business and social get-togethers.
They don't come any better than your dad, God Bless.
Mary Biden (Blackwell)
