Obituary of Fred Rennebohn

December 5, 1928 – July 20, 2015 Fred Rennebohm passed away peacefully on July 20, 2015 at the age of 86 years. He was predeceased by his wife Irene; parents Tare and Marie; brothers and sisters-in law, Howard (Louise) and Eugene (Maisie). Fred is survived by his children Christine Wallenberg, Rick (Tess) Rennebohm and Susan (Tom) Baiton; grandchildren, Fay and Rob Wallenberg and Jacqueline and Frazer Rennebohm, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Fred was born and raised in Regina. He met his life partner Irene Matlock whom he married in 1950. They took over her family’s farm near Lumsden, and together raised cows, chickens and kids. Fred also worked as an electrician finishing his career at the Co-op Refinery. Fred and Irene retired to Parksville, B.C. where they enjoyed living large on the West Coast. Fred spent his last years at Sunset Extendicare where he received excellent compassionate care until his passing. At Fred’s request there will be no funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
