Obituary of Goldie Henrietta Somerville

GOLDIE HENRIETTA SOMERVILLE April 14, 1916 – August 4, 2015 Goldie passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the age of 99 years. She was predeceased by husband John; son-in-law Bob Pickering; two sisters and one brother and their spouses; and John’s siblings and their spouses. Goldie is survived by children, Jackie (Sandy), Bernie (Lorraine), Dorothy, and Rhonda (Dale); eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Goldie loved to play cards, was a great cook and gardener, and enjoyed painting. A Graveside Service will be held at Lang Cemetery, Lang, SK on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Friends so wishing, may make donations in memory of Goldie to a charity of their choice.
