It was with great pleasure and sadness that I came to work with your son at Calder Centre. Davin was a personable young man with values of kindness, respect and courage. He was a leader to the other youth clients and liked by all clients and staff alike. I am saddened by his passing. May his story be told to encourage youth to live a life free of addictions.
Respectfully
Patrick Schaan

Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved wonderful son. We did not know him really well, but every time we saw him, he had a big smile and a huge heart. He was fun, loving and kind, and wonderful to spend time with. The world suffered a great loss with his passing.
I know there are no words that will help with your loss, but know that he was loved deeply and by many and that many love you and share in your pain and loss.

We are so VERY sorry to hear of Davin's passing. There can be no greater loss than the loss of a beloved child. This must be such a difficult time for all of you. We can say we know what you are feeling but we really can't say that. No one can. There is nothing we can say that will suffice or console adequately. Only that we are thinking of you. We are so very sorry that this has happened. Stay strong and stay together. Our hearts go out to both of you. - Katherine and Garth

Ken,Tracy, Parker and Macy.
I am dumbstruck by the news of Davin's passing. He was a great kid.
He suffered enough grief for an entire lifetime in his short life.
May the peace of your Higher Power be with you all.
He had a giant heart and a big goofy grin- I'll miss his twisted sense of humour too.
I trust he's with the angels now and making them laugh.
missed,
Don Fitzsimmons

Dear Tracy, Ken, Macy and Parker. We are so very sorry to hear of the loss of Davin. Sometimes we question our Lord for his actions but of course there are no answers as it is His will and not ours.
The healing process takes time as I have come to know. Don't expect too much of yourself. Let yourself feel grief. Let yourself be angry. Let yourself be confused. Let yourself cry as much as you need to. Just take life one day at a time. The healing process takes time and that's okay.
Words are so empty now,but you will come to tell are meant well. I can't express the sorrow we are feeling for you all.
Our most Sincere and Deepest Sympathy to you all.
Love from Cal and Sharonb
