Obituary of Phylis Fahlman

PHYLIS FAHLMAN Phylis Fahlman, late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2015 at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her late husband Alois, daughter Mary Patterson, her sister Eugenia and her brothers Joe and Tony Deringer. Phylis is survived by her children Tony, Agnes and Daniel, granddaughters Allison and Angelina, great grandsons Antonio and Chad and special friend Lima Perras. Phylis was born in Mankota, SK in 1927. She married Alois in 1950 in Mankota and moved to Kronau, SK to her husband’s community. They moved to Regina in 1962. Shortly after their move, she began working at the Landmark Inn as a housekeeper where she was employed until her retirement in 1987. Phylis enjoyed knitting, card games and fun family times. She was a great Rider fan and over the years enjoyed being in bowling leagues, going to local hockey games and was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League. The Funeral Mass will be held at Little Flower R.C. Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jose Periyilkatte, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Regina Memorial Gardens.
