Obituary of Hazel May Dickson

On Friday, August 14, 2015 Hazel May Dickson passed away peacefully at the Regina General Hospital after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents Beatrice and Jack Dickson and her sister Karen (Verne) Simpson. She is survived by her long-time friend Mary Elizabeth Leach and good friends Judith Young and Denny Rudy. Hazel was a musician at heart having played violin with the Regina Symphony, was an avid piano player and sang in church choirs. She was an avid reader and had a wonderful sense of humour. She loved all animals especially dogs and cats. She has been a member of St. Paul’s Cathedral and was very involved in All Saints in Katepwa, SK. She was a skilled executive assistant for several companies in San Francisco, Vancouver and Regina. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at All Saints Katepwa, Highway 56, Katepwa, SK on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Dean Mike Sinclair officiating. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to St. Paul’s Cathedral, 1861 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK., S4P 2R2, All Saints Katepwa, Box 924, Indian Head, SK., S0G 2K0 or charity of choice. We wish to thank the wonderful caring staff at the CCU for their compassionate care for Hazel and for creating the most peaceful environment possible.
