Obituary of Eric Lee Wood

LEE WOOD September 11, 1927 – August 17, 2015 Dad passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2015 and has gone to reunite with his loving wife Jean (1991). He is survived and loved very much by his son Eric (Gloria) Wood and kids, Willow, Vincent, Derek and J.; daughters, Sandy (late Darwyn) Germaine and kids, Nathan, Sarah and Melissa, Nola Wood ((Mike) and son Caleb; plus eleven great-grandkids. “Little ol’ Woody” was born in Yellowgrass SK. He grew up in a family of sixteen brothers and sisters. He was a gentle man, a hard worker, and was always smiling and whistling. His hearty laugh could be heard all around, along with his many cow moos. He loved bacon and murphers, junk food and Coors Lite. So many things are reminders of him and he will be missed so much. We want to extend a huge thank you to the staff on 4 west at Pioneer Village. Thank you for all your compassion, hugs and tears, and for being there for Dad and us. A Come and Go Celebration of Lee’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015, starting at 2:00 pm, at the Italian Club, 2148 Connaught Street, Regina.
