Obituary of Konstantinos "Dino" Tzoumas

Konstantinos (Dino) Tzoumas of Regina, SK passed away peacefully, August 20, 2015 at age 51. He is survived by his parents, Athanasios Tom and Konstantina Dina Tzoumas; brother Ioannis Yiannis Tzoumas; sister Anastasia (Dimitris) Tsagouris; nephew Panayiotis and niece Sofia Nektaria Tsagouris as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Dino was born in Moose Jaw on January 18, 1964, however grew up in Regina, SK where he worked in the restaurant industry alongside his family. In recent years, Dino and his parents owned and operated the Harvest Inn Family Restaurant in Canora, SK. His welcoming smile and lively attitude left a lasting impression on staff and clientele. Outside of the restaurant industry, Dino was known to be a sports fan - especially of the Calgary Stampeders. He enjoyed old movies, music, but most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. Dino’s distinguishable laugh, witty sense of humor, fun loving character and kind heart will be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and doctors of the Regina General Hospital, Regina Pasqua Hospital, Palliative Care Unit 3A, and Rev. Father Spyridon Vandoros for his spiritual guidance and support. Prayer and Funeral Services will be held at Saint Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church, 3000 Argyle Road, Regina, SK with Rev. Father Spyridon Vandoros officiating. Prayer Service will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Regina Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memoriam, to Saint Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church and/or the Palliative Care Unit 3A at the Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK, S4T 1A5.
