Obituary of Mavis Mary Hryhorash

Mavis passed away on Saturday August 22, 2015 at the age of 71 years. She was predeceased by her parents William and Mary Tyson; sister Alice Tyson; son-in-law Eric Zelmer; niece Pamela Martynuik and brother-in-law Harry Bannow. Mavis will be lovingly remembered by her husband Don of almost 50 years; daughter Cindy Zelmer; brother Jim Tyson; sister Edith Bannow as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mavis was a long-time volunteer with St. John Ambulance for 34 years. She worked for a number of years for Buy Rite Drugs, Sears Call Centre and Walmart. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make a memorial donation in Mavis’s name to St. John Ambulance, 2625 3rd Avenue, Regina, SK, S4T 0C8 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2R3.
