Obituary of Mary Katherine Klassen

Mary Klassen June 14, 1961 - August 30, 2015 Mary passed away on August 30, 2015 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 54. She is survived by her son Brett (Kaitlin); daughter Kristen; mother Milka; her loving siblings Joe (Shirley), Amy (Don), Helen (Gerry) and Jean; numerous nieces and nephews and Jack the cat. She was predeceased by her dad Ivan, her grandmother Baba, and her nephew Kelly. Mary was born to Ivan and Milka Lenic in June 1961. She graduated from O’Neil1 high school in 1979. She continued her education at the U of R and completed an administration degree. She started working for SGI in 1984. Mary was active in the U of R alumni. She loved to work in her garden, enjoyed yoga and was so proud of her children and family. She will be dearly missed as she touched the lives of so many with her positive and loving nature. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Thursday September 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mary’s name, may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society - Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2R3.
