Obituary of Magdaline Ludwar

MAGDALINE LUDWAR Magdaline (May) Ludwar (nee Walters) passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Red Deer, Alberta on August 23, 2015 at the wonderful age of 104. Magdaline was born on November 26, 1910 at Avonlea, Saskatchewan. She moved to Regina when she was a teenager where she spent the majority of her years before moving to Red Deer in 2006 to be close to her family. Magdaline was a homemaker who loved to knit and crochet and took great pride in the fact she made most of her own clothes. Magdaline is survived by her daughter, Kathy (George) Dulmage; sons Lawrence (Linda) Don (Penny); grandchildren, Kelly Bleich, Carrie (Corrie) Steinback, Callum (Nancy), Corey, Craig and Darcy and great-grandchildren Haley and Bronlynn Bleich, Shane Allen, and Ava and Ashton Ludwar. Also survived by one brother, William; sisters Alma MacDonald, Jean Krewench and Dorothy (Gary Gigliotti) Smith, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Domnica Walters; her husband, John; sister Rose; brothers, Con, Sam and Pete; granddaughter, Maline and son-in-law, Sigmund Bleich. Memorial Service, followed by a reception, will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Regina Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
