Obituary of Mary Adelaide Weckman

MARY ADELAIDE WECKMAN Adelaide, age 84, passed away, surrounded by loved ones, on September 11, 2015 in Regina, SK. She was a passionate businesswoman, dedicated farm wife, avid bridge player, faithful CNN viewer, enthusiastic wine drinker and cherished wife, mother and grandmother who appreciated life’s many blessings. Adelaide was born on August 22, 1931 in Uren, SK to Raymond and Mary Jane Bowden. She married Gerald Weckman in 1960 and he survives. Also surviving is her daughter Karen (Bill); grandchildren Keith (Ashley) and Krystal; sister Edith and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held at Rouleau United Church, Rouleau, SK on Tuesday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m., with a lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in memory of Adelaide, to the Hockey and Hearts, P.O. Box 273 Rouleau, SK S0G 4H0.
