Obituary of Doris Amelia Henry

Doris (nee Gaetz) late of Regina, died peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Doris was predeceased by her father, Lawrence Gaetz and her parents in law, Audrey Henry and Joe Henry. Doris is survived by her loving husband Tom; son Zacharia (Sarah); mother Emilia Gaetz; brothers Leonard (Annette), Bob (Audrey), Bernie (Kathy) and Kevin (Valerie); sisters Luella Milne (Greg) and Donna Lapierre (Harvey); sister-in-law Nancy (Glenn Styles) and sister-in-law Marion; brother-in-law Jim (Tara); numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many special friends and co-workers. Doris was an accomplished marathon runner and tri-athlete. As a highly respected and compassionate wound care nurse with home care, she won the hearts of many. She will be missed. Funeral Service will be held at Resurrection R.C. Church, 3155 Windsor Park Road, Regina, SK, on Monday September 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing, may make a memorial donation in Doris’s name to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, 2-1124 8th Street East, Saskatoon, SK, S7H 0S4.
