Tragic that I didn't get to talk with Bill one more time.
I visited Bill in 2005 after being away from Regina for forty years or so.
We had good fun talking about the old days at Central Collegiate.
Bill was a good friend who would give you anything he had if you needed it.
He was one of my favourite people.

I wish to express my condolences and will certainly miss a good friend.
I knew Bill very well and worked with him at the Regina Airport. We often curled together or against each other for many years. Allan Cook

I was very saddened and surprised to read of Bill's passing in Saturday's paper.
I have been a curling colleague of Bill's for the past 13 seasons at the Callie Curling Club.
He was my skip when we finished this past March. I liked and respected Bill very much.
Bill was a thoughtful and kindhearted person. When my wife had health issues in 2013, he said " You take care of your wife and I'll take care of finding spare players to fill in for you"
Those are the gestures of kindness that one does not forget
Bill was also a very generous person.A few years back I was on his team in a bonspiel and he succeeded in getting us into the prizes. One of the prizes was golf green fees. Since Bill no longer golfed, he gave his prize share to me..
I will definitely miss his presene at the Callie this season

Willy was a GREAT guy. Hard worker and a caring man. God take his hand and lead him to green pastures.

I was saddened to see Bill's notice. I worked with him at my first job in the '60's at Brownlee Drug store. I was just one of the Prescription Delivery kids who also worked in the store cleaning and doing general chores. Bill treated me like an adult and taught me some life skills on how to be strong and take care of myself. Always a smile, the occasional swat on the back of the head when I did something stupid. Like the big brother I never had I guess. He probably never realized his impact, but he helped me be a better person.
RIP Bill.

Bill was a great work partner. We always had a good time. At work and many times after work socializing. We talked about lots including Bill making the investment to buy his house. He was quiet but always kind. ALways gave 110%. RIP Bill.
