Obituary of Magdolina Maria Sutter (nee Magyar)

After sharing their lives for 37 years, David and Magdi have passed away leaving many family members and friends to mourn them. David is predeceased by his parents Johnny and Dorothy, son Deni, and sisters Diane and Gail. He is survived by sons Jody (Stacy), and Jarod (Janelle), grandson Randy, granddaughters Imogen and Elizabeth, brothers Mike (Sonia), Dale (Tara), and Richard, and nieces and nephews Michele (Scott), Mike (Melissa), and Nicki (Jason). Magdi is survived by her parents Janos and Julianna Magyar, brothers Janos (Mimosa), Jeno (Donna), Leslie, Robert (Tina), and nieces and nephews Tiarra, Mareena, Jeff, Justin, Joey, Jim, Jessica and Bobby. David and Maggie were extremely devoted to one another; their home was filled with portraits of the two of them together as well as many gifts and greeting cards they gave to one another. They shared a love of dogs and had a few over the years. Munchie, their most recent pet, was always being spoiled with treats, especially cheese. They enjoyed many activities like listening to country music, spending time at their campsite near Stoughton, and for Magdi, cooking and sharing traditional Hungarian dishes and other delicious food. Even after living in Regina for many years, David remained a B.C. Lions fan, a legacy of their years in Vancouver. They especially enjoyed spending time with Jody and the girls, whether going out for breakfast, celebrating special occasions, or hosting them for a weekend of fun at the campground. David worked as a lather until a workplace accident forced him into early retirement. Magdie spent many years working in the Safeway deli. A Memorial Service is to be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Earl Grey following a reception. Donations may be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles at 1600 Halifax Street, Regina, SK S4P 1S8, of which they were longstanding members.
