Obituary of Robert Harmond McElroy

Robert McElroy, late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the age of 90 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was predeceased by his wife Doris Jean (Lutz); his parents Harmond and Beatrice (Lewis); infant son William Robert and son Jim (Truck) McElroy; Grandaughter Kelly Reilly; Great-Great Grandaughter Olivia Reilly; his five brothers and sisters; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters Patricia Reilly, Margaret Anne Bell and Maureen Hvidston; six Grandchildren; seven Great Grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandchildren. Bob is also survived by his step-children Judy (Bert) Rieger and Terrance Evanow and their families. Because of his engaging personality, Bob will be greatly missed by the many friends he made at Muchmore Lodge and the staff at Grace Hospice. We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to Donna Godwin and the Doctors and Staff at Grace Hospice for the excellent comfort and care they provided to our Dad in his final days. In honor of Bob’s final wishes there will be no funeral service.
