Obituary of Beatrice Jean Stewart

BEATRICE JEAN STEWART November 22, 1938 – November 3, 2015 Beatrice passed away on Tuesday November 3, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband Roderick Stewart; parents Robert and Jean Weiss and her siblings. Beatrice is survived by her son Rick; daughter Carol Walker (Melvin); grandchildren Tyler, Skyla, Logan and Deserae and numerous relatives. She was born and raised in Jansen, Saskatchewan and attended Nun School in Jansen until she moved into Regina to complete high school at Balfour Collegiate. It was while attending Balfour Collegiate that she met the love of her life, Roderick Stewart and they were later married. Beatrice worked at Sears for many years until she began to care for her grandchildren, which she enjoyed very much. She loved shopping with her grandchildren, and was known to spoil them by buying them whatever they would like! Beatrice loved animals and was very sociable, frequently enjoying coffee with friends. She will be missed by many. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Please meet inside cemetery gates.
