Obituary of Edna Craig Kirkpatrick

On Saturday November 7, 2015, Edna Kirkpatrick passed away peacefully at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 87. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Neal; her infant daughter, Joanne; her parents Bruce and Edna; her brothers Harry, Earl and Bruce; her sister Mina and her infant brother Milo. Edna is survived by her loving children, Susan Raybould of Hamilton, Ontario and her children, Joanna (Jordan) and her children, Marley and Parker of Campbell River, B.C. and Kirk (Courtney) of Oshawa, Ontario; Craig (Janet) Kirkpatrick and their children, Andrew, Jason, Shauna (Gord) and Nicole and her children, Ella and Cali of Chilliwack, B.C.; Perry (Katéri) Kirkpatrick and their children, Neal and Sophie of Ottawa, Ontario. Edna is also survived by her sister, Mary Demerse of Regina, Saskatchewan; her sister-in-law Marion (Nell) Lincoln of Peterborough, Ontario; sister-in-law Peg Gillett of Urbana, Illinois; sister-in-law Margaret (Howard) Sales of Calgary, Alberta; brother-in-law Ben (Joyce) Kirkpatrick of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; sister-in-law Martha (Mike) Hill of Lumsden, Saskatchewan as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Service will be held on Friday November 13, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel at 2136 College Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan with Pastor David Schuchardt officiating. A family interment will follow at Regina Memorial Gardens. Edna's devotion to her family was limitless, teaching her children by her strong Christian example, involved with her Church community, as a Sunday School teacher, as Church treasurer and supporting her Church's missions work. Edna was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many; she was involved in all aspects of farm life while joyfully maintaining a bountiful garden each year.
