Dear Marlene
I came to know you mom quite well as I visited my mother at Parkside. I loved seeing your mom and looked forward to our visits together. She was a fine, smart, caring, wonderful woman and although could not see, managed so well on her own. We teased her about her great skin and ran out to buy ponds when we found she used that. We talked many times about how she was anxious to meet up with her husband and I am still amazed she left 2 days after mom did. I am sure they are now discussing the meals at Parkside among other things. I am happy for her but will miss our conversations. My whole family knew your mom and we all loved her. My condolences. Sandy and Dallas Howe

The depths of sorrow we cannot tell,
Of the loss of one we loved so well;
And while she sleeps a peaceful sleep,
Her memory we shall always keep.
Our sympathy to the family. Thinking of you as we remember the times spent together.

Walter, Marlene, Sybil & Len & families,
We were so sorry to hear about Auntie Katie. We were so happy that we were able to visit with her last year with Mom. She lived a very long and happy life with all her family around, and she will now be able to join her beloved husband, parents and siblings. Find comfort in knowing that, during this time of grief. Our prayers and sympathies are with all of you.

Marlene, Walter, Sybil, Len and families,
We are sorry for your loss, but take comfort knowing that God has called Auntie Katie to be among his angels. She has been reunited with those who have gone before her. She was always so kind and welcoming.

Marilyn and I would like to offer our deepest sympathies to the entire Rog family. Almost 105 years young. Wow, what a wonderful, long life!! I had the opportunity to meet and visit with your mom a number of times and, I must say, she was a sweetheart and a pleasure to talk to. What a memory that lady had. No doubt you will miss her. Cherish the memories, knowing she (probably) is where she really wants to be - enjoying a well-deserved rest.

To all the family members & friends of auntie Katie.
Louise and I would like to extend our condolences and deepest sympathy.
Auntie Katie was a true christian and was married to a man who also served God well.
I can still remember all those Christmas meals at her home in Lipton. Uncle Walter working hard in his blacksmith shop on regular work days and then helping prepare the Christmas meals. The closet thing to a swear word for uncle Walter was (by gully)!
We know she is with God now and uncle Walter by her side. May memories of her go on forever and the spirit of God give us peace and unity.
