Obituary of Donald Howard Alexander MacGillivray

DONALD MACGILLIVRAY Don passed away on November 17, 2015 with his family at his side, after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his parents Russell and Margaret MacGillivray and sister Yvonne Gibben. He is survived by his loving wife, Pat; his sister Daphne Williams (Winnipeg, Mb); his daughter Valerie (William Kolody); son Jim, and daughter Laurie. He also is survived by four grandchildren, Heather (Bill Barilla), Christopher (Lisa), Neil and Sean and four great grandchildren. Don was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and spent his early years helping his Dad in the family business, MacGillivray’s Drugs, stocking shelves and delivering merchandise. As a young man he entered the business of pharmaceutical sales and worked for various drug companies. He found his true niche in life as a commercial and industrial real estate salesman and broker. He was known for his strength, tenacity, stubbornness, love of family and will be missed. As per Don’s wishes, a family service was held Thursday.
