Obituary of Evelyn Yeomans

EVELYN YEOMANS February 1, 1927 – November 26, 2015 Evelyn passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 26, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Thomas Yeomans; her three children, Sandra Rath (Rod), Dianne Swanson (Greg), and Richard (Christine) Yeomans; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn is predeceased by her mother and father, Emma and Henry Laughton; her sister Irma Baker; as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law; two nephews, and a niece. Evelyn was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. She met Tom at SaskPower where they both worked after the war. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit 3A for their amazing and warm care. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church her entire life. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Evelyn’s memory are welcome to Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina SK, S4T 1B7 or a charity of your choice.
