Obituary of Douglas James Backman

DOUGLAS BACKMAN 1965 – 2015 Doug passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 50 years. He was predeceased by his dad Clarence and his grandparents. He will be lovingly remembered by his mom Grace; siblings, Brian, Brenda (Derrick) and Darcy (Sandy); and nephews, Alex and Kaius. Doug was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering for his teams – the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Edmonton Oilers and the Dallas Cowboys. He was also a big country music fan and enjoyed attending many concerts. The Memorial Service will the held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
