Obituary of Annabella Woytko

ANNABELLA WOYTKO June 24, 1920 – December 8, 2015 Annabella was born to Charles and Mary Clark in Hanley, SK. She was one of ten children. She was predeceased by her first husband Robert John Hutchison; second husband Harry (Greg) Woytko; daughter Helen (née Hutchison) Cudmore; one son-in-law John Bye and two infant grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Grace (David) Voldeng, Myrna Bye, Ross (Kathy) Hutchison, Eric (Beverly) Hutchison; sisters, Betsy (John) Bury and Mary (Ron) Fox. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. Annabella spent her young years in Unity, SK where she cleaned and cooked for a local doctor and his family. Annabella met Robert when he was in University in Saskatoon. They fell madly in love and decided to marry on June 20, 1941. They settled in Naicam, SK and soon after marriage they began their family. They spent the better part of 30 years together on the family farm in Naicam. After Bob’s passing in 1972, Anne took a trip to Scotland with her sister Maggie. Upon returning, she worked for two years at a nursing home in Saskatoon where she met hubby number 2. Greg and Anne married in 1975. They spent 30 plus years on a farm in Hyas, SK. After Greg’s passing in 2008, Anne moved to Regina to live with her daughter Myrna. On December 4, 2014, due to declining health, she moved to Parkside Extendicare where she resided until her passing. Annabella’s interests were: gardening, cooking, sewing, needle work, and quilting. Her family was by far her biggest pleasure. She was so proud of what her family had become. She felt it was one of her greatest accomplishments. She passed away peacefully at Parkside Extendicare at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. Thank you to those who cared for her. The Memorial Service will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. Donations in memory of Annabella may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.
