Its hard to believe you have been gone for two weeks now. As time goes by, days and weeks, the pain I know will never leave me. I guess I am just going to have to deal with the pain. Some days have been easier than others, I can feel you with me so strong which comforts me....but bro I miss you.
I find myself staring at your picture...constantly. All still seems like a dream, a nightmare really. My life will never be the same. You sure took a piece of me with you. Uncle said you were holding on really hard....part of me thinks that you missed you Joe too much, you wanted to see him again, even if you didn't come back.
Ill miss our laughs and conversations the most, your smile and when we would cry laughing over story telling. Your love for me I will carry always.

I cannot believe this.... my deepest sympathies. I did not know Joey on a personal level, but I have met him several times through the glasses shop. Every time I entered those doors i was greeted by the biggest smiles and chatting like we were old time friends. He was such a beautiful soul, who brought happiness to all the people around him. It brings tears to my eyes and immense sadness to my heart to hear that he has been taken from this world way too soon. Rest easy, Joey... your presence in this world will be severely missed. Lorraine, I could not believe it when read the paper and saw Joey's image. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I always enjoyed stopping in and chatting to the two of you. Joey was one of the good ones and he always had a smile. The image you used is perfect, it is so him.
