Heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Mona to Ken and family, and to Dora and family. I met Mona many years ago when we went to highschool in Kennedy and we have kept in touch over the years. Her family and friends were very important to her. We have all been blessed by her caring and love. May she rest in peace.

Uncle Ken, Sharon, David and Family,
We wanted to express our love and condolences to you with the passing of "Aunt Mo", a loving sister, mother and aunt who enriched our lives. The Whiting family had the good fortune of being physically and emotionally close to the Morrow family. We lived in the same city, shared the same neighborhood and spent holidays and weekends at the beach together. Although there was a difference in age and character, my mother and aunt were very close and our families shared that bond as well.
Mona and Ken provided many memories for my family and we benefited in our childhood growing up with their calm reason (Ken) and fiery temperament (Mona) to add perspective to our lives. Their generosity of spirit and family is embodied in their children, David and Sharon, whom we love very much and will always be our "Big Brother and Sister"!
The strength of Ken and Mona's relationship, the conversations, dinner parties and time spent together will never be forgotten and has given us strength and comfort throughout the years.
In your time of grief, please know that we love you and Aunt Mona will live on, in our hearts and minds.
God Bless you Aunt Mo! Rest Easy!
Aunt Dora, Uncle Jack, Mark, Todd, Kyle, Dean and the Whiting Family

Dear Ken and Family
I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Ken and family. I worked with Mona at Lakeview United Church in our House Task Committee #3 right up until Mona told me she felt she no longer had the "strength to continue". I enjoyed getting to know her in her latter years at the church when I returned to more frequent service. I found her to be very committed to and helpful with the tasks and I shall always remember her as a quiet person of faith and service. The last time I saw Mona was during my visit to Parkside last December (2014) when I delivered the card from Lakeview Church. We could not wake her that day but I met you Ken and we had a great chat. I did not deliver the card this year before we left for our winter in Burnaby BC again so missed a visit before her passing. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend her service because or our stay in Burnaby but will be thinking of you and your family.
Sincerely,
Floralyn Wessel
