Obituary of James Peter Gasper

May 10, 1939 – January 2, 2016 Jim passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at his home in Regina early Saturday January 2, 2016. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Joseph; his infant sister Erma and his brother Jerry. He will be missed by brothers Albert (Marlene) and Bob (Dianne); sister Diane; step-children Sharilee (Jim), Melody and Kevin; many nieces; nephews, and relatives, along with many good friends and neighbors. Jim’s time was spent as a wholesale automotive Sales Representative for most of his working life, travelling throughout Southern Saskatchewan. He was a passionate Saskatchewan Roughrider fan and Season Ticket holder for decades. His love, care and admiration for dogs expanded to boarding and grooming which endeared him to many dog owners. They often sought him out for his services and friendship. A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
