Obituary of Dennis John Joseph Abday

May 19, 1959 - January 11, 2016 Dennis of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 56 years. He leaves behind to mourn, his daughters Amy and Jody Abday of Calgary; brother Kyle Abday (Brenda) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Phyllis Abday. Dennis married Joan Crittenden in 1983. They lived in Regina for the next 30 years where they raised their girls. He loved golf, baseball (NY Yankees), hockey (Boston Bruins), barbequing and all things American. He spent most of his career at SaskTel and also helped raise cattle and horses at his parent’s farm near White City. Dennis was very quick witted and always liked to joke. He was most proud of his girls and was a loving father. He spent hours braiding hair, painting fingernails and attending all their sporting events. He will be sadly missed.
