Obituary of Cecil Peter Wiest

Cecil, late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at the age of 90 years. Cecil is survived by his loving wife of seventy-two years, Madeline (Lea), son Cecil R. (Sharon), grandson, Colin (Wendi) and Dale, great-grandchildren, Ashley (Scott) Mitchel, Nicole (Rob) and Andrew, seven great-great-grandchildren, one brother Raymond (Joyce), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Ida, son Denis, siblings, Ida, Albert, George, Bill, Lizzie, Len, Helen, Fred, Bob, Cliff and Evelyn. A special thank you to the nurses and caregivers on 2 West Pioneer Village. A Celebration of Cecil’s life will be held in the chapel at Pioneer Village Nursing Home, 430 Pioneer Drive, Regina on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Chaplain Cliff Geiger officiating. Reception to follow. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations in Cecil’s memory may be made to the Regina Humane Society, P.O. Box 3143 Stn Main, Regina, SK S4P 3G7
