Obituary of Eleanore Steinbacher

Eleanore Steinbacher passed away quietly in her sleep at the Pasqua Hospital on January 27, 2016. Born on February 10, 1923 at Voitsberg, Austria; Eleanore immigrated to Canada with her family in 1957. Predeceased by her mother Wilhemina in 1948 and father Josef in 1958; brother Josef E. in 1943; son Heinz in 2002 and daughter-in-law Carol in 2013. Eleanore is survived by sons, Joe (Carol), and George; grandchildren, Rhonda Grubb (Dave), Peter, James (Sharon) and great granddaughter Violet Eve. A Memorial Service will be held in the spring.
