Obituary of Elizabeth Diane Yablonski

Betty, age 66, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her mother Gisella; father Joseph Dimen and her brother Kenny. Betty is survived by her husband of 42 years, Russell (Russ) Yablonski; her daughter Melanie (Curtis Mead) and their children Drew Yablonski and Dryden and Brett Mead; daughter Michelle (Darwin Hanofski) and their son Tobin; siblings Irene Neil, Ernie (Arlene) Dimen, Mary Ann (Leonard) Desjarlais, Sylvia (Lee) Stephenson, Joyce (Pat) Gyug and Beverley (Richard) Fink. Betty spent time between homes in Regina, Buffalo Pound and Yuma, Arizona. She loved life, whether that was spending time at the lake in the summer or in Yuma over the winter months. Betty also loved to sew, with this hobby often ending with gifts for her family. She cherished her husband, daughters and grandchildren. Greeting everyone with a smile, she will be sadly missed. A private family service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined.
