Obituary of Katherine Theresa Schaefer

Kay, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her parents Albinus and Cecilia Schaefer, daughter Patricia Klyne, brother Joseph Schaefer and sister Ann Allen, Kay is survived by son-in-law Ron Klyne; her four grandchildren, Shawn (Sheila) Klyne, Shannon (Grant) Graham, Taryn (Mike) Svenson and Mitchell (Bev) Klyne; twelve great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Caroline Bergman as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A family celebration of her life will be held in the spring at the Qu’Appelle Cemetery. Friends so wishing may make a memorial donation in Kay’s name to the Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home, 1925 Regina Avenue, Regina, SK, S4S 0J5. A special thanks to all the staff at the Santa Maria for the amazing care provided since 2009. Grandma loved and appreciated every one of you.
