Lyle was like family to me and I will always remember him. He was a very kind and caring person who liked to help others. I will never forget everything he helped me with and all the times I shared his company. Our thoughts and prayers to the Soles family. With deepest sympathy, George Aggelopoulos and family.

Pat and family, We were very sorry to hear of Lyle's passing. I know he will be dearly missed. We enjoyed getting to know him over the years and considered him part of our extended family. We also feel blessed to know that we will see him again one day as well. You are in our hearts and prayers.

News of Lyle's passing at such a young age is very saddening. My wife Kathy and I send heartfelt condolences. I served with Lyle at Headingley and while I did not know him for a long time I enjoyed his company, sense of humour and friendly inclusive nature. From time to time, when I am in the mood for a trip down memory lane, the photos I have of the day we received our 30 year service bars are always included.
