Obituary of John Kucheravy

John passed away suddenly in Regina SK while a resident at Parkside Nursing Home where he had resided for six days. He was born at Foam Lake SK to parents George and Mary Kucheravy. John was predeceased by his wife Gayleen; his beloved daughter Terilee McIntyre; his sisters, Alice (Lorne) Howse and Ann (Earle) Kaufenberg, and brother Harry Kucheravy. John is survived by his devoted wife of eighteen years, Marion Reles; the Light of His Life, granddaughter Kourtney McIntyre; son-in-law Trevor McIntyre; step children, Paul (Lori) Reles, Chris (Kenda) Reles, and Gail (Andy) Prentice; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many good friends. John started his career in the retail clothing business when he moved to Regina at the age of twenty-one. In his early career he was employed at David Moss and then began a partnership in Mr. Jack’s Menswear. Later he worked at Hunt’s Menswear, ending his fifty-five year career at Colin O’Brian Man’s Shoppe. He took great pride in his ability to serve customers in a friendly manner and made sure what they purchased fit them to perfection. Funeral Service will be held at New Hope Lutheran Church, 370 McIntosh Street North, Regina, SK, on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Liz Kuglin-Alyea officiating. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined.
